Frozen Pilgrim

Frozen Pilgrim is a winter road race held in Marshfield at Marshfield High School, 167 Forest Street. The event offers short distance courses and was run with a modified schedule for safety and cold weather conditions.

• 3 mile including participants moved from the original 5 mile field

Organizers adjusted the event so there are no water stops on the course because low temperatures can freeze water in cups; participants are advised to carry their own water if needed. There are bathrooms available to change into warm clothes after the race; the gym is not available for participant use. Free parking is available on site. Walkers are welcome and running strollers should start toward the back. Dogs are not allowed on the course; requests to participate with a service animal are handled by the race organizers.

Bib and shirt pickup are provided at Marathon Sports in Plymouth on the day before the race and at Marshfield High School on the morning of the event. A shirt order deadline is listed as January 8. Awards are given after the race in the main foyer and include overall top three male and female for the one mile and the three mile, plus first place male and female in multiple age groups covering ages ten and under through eighty and over.
