Frozen Pilgrim 2026 : Marshfield, MA
The Frozen Pilgrim is a winter road race held at Marshfield High School, 167 Forest Street, Marshfield, Massachusetts. For the 2026 edition the organizer adjusted distances: the five-mile race was changed to a three-mile event and those participants were moved into the three-mile field.

Race operations note that there will be no water stops on course because low temperatures can freeze cups; participants should carry their own fluids if needed. There are bathrooms available to change into warm clothes after the race; the school gym is not available for participants. Parking is free on site. Walkers are welcome; running strollers should start near the back. No dogs are allowed on the course; service animals require prior arrangement with organizers.
BIB and shirt pickup are offered at a retail location in Plymouth on the day before the race and on site at Marshfield High School on race day. Online registration for the 2026 race is closed. Entry fees vary by distance and age group; on-site paper registration accepts cash, checks, and Venmo, while credit-card registration must be done online. Awards include overall places for the 1-mile and the 3-mile events and age-group awards for the longer race. Proceeds support the Kurt Giessler Foundation for Youth Achievement.
