Event overview
The 14th Annual Frozen Pilgrim takes place on January 25, 2026 in Marshfield, Massachusetts at Marshfield High School, 167 Forest Street. The event offers races over the following distances:
- 1 mile
- 3 mile
- 5 mile
Proceeds support the Kurt Giessler Foundation for Youth Achievement. Course maps are provided for each distance. Race-day bib pickup and onsite registration are planned; final pickup details are to be announced. T-shirt orders require registration by Thursday, January 8 to guarantee availability.
Race details and services
Awards are presented after the race in the foyer at the main entrance to Marshfield High School. Award categories include overall 1st–3rd male and female for the 1 mile, and overall 1st–3rd male and female for the 3 and 5 mile. The 3 and 5 mile events also award 1st place male and female in age groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
There is free parking on site. Walkers are welcome; running strollers should start near the back. No dogs are allowed on the course. The organizer will accommodate participants who require a service animal. Volunteers receive a complimentary registration to a future race. Registration fees vary by distance and age.
