Event details
The 13th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Seattle takes place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Marymoor Park, Marybelle Meadow (17525 NE 65th St, Redmond, WA 98052). The event includes a 5K race, a kids fun run (untimed 100-yard dash), and a virtual participation option. Activities listed for the event include a day-before packet pick up (time TBD), day-of packet pick up, the kids fun run, a race start, a brain tumor survivor photo, and community recognitions such as Keeping the Faith and Legacy of Love.
Funds raised at the event will benefit brain tumor research and programs, including UW Medicine, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Path to Hope, and other national brain cancer initiatives. The event lists both local and national sponsors.
Registration and fundraising
The event offers several registration options: Early Bird 5K registration for $34 (includes event t-shirt, timing bib and medal; ages 9 and up), 5K plus dog registration for $49 (includes t-shirt, timing bib, medal for the person and a dog bandana), Kids Fun Run registration for $25 (child 9 or younger; includes t-shirt and ribbon), and Virtual registration for $40 (includes t-shirt and finishers medal mailed to participant; virtual registrants cannot pick up race materials in person).
