Event details
The 13th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - Omaha is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Zorinsky Lake Park, 3808 S 156th St, Omaha, NE 68144. The event includes packet pick up on the day of the event and a packet pick up option the day before. The program lists a kids fun run for children and a post-race brain tumor survivor photo and recognition segment.

Registration and fees

Virtual registration is listed at $40 and includes a mailed event t-shirt and finishers medal; virtual participants cannot pick up materials in person.
Beneficiaries and fundraising
Funds raised will benefit brain tumor research and related programs, including Nebraska Medicine Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska Children’s, Leap for a Cure, Path to Hope and other national brain cancer initiatives.
