HBOT4Heroes Run 4 Their Lives 5K - Apex, NC
This event is a community 5K held on October 31, 2026 in Apex, North Carolina on the American Tobacco Trail at the White Oak Church Road access. The run supports HBOT4Heroes, a nonprofit that provides access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy for people living with traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and persistent suicidal thoughts. The organization serves veterans, first responders, survivors, and others seeking treatment.
The event is described as family friendly and fully inclusive. Participants may run, walk, roll, wear a cape, bring a stroller, or bring a dog. Options include in person or virtual participation, creating a fundraising team, dedicating a cape at the Cape Dedication Station, and placing a Tribute Trail Poster along the course. A costume contest will award first, second, and third place with winners announced at the finish line. DJ Deyon will provide event music.
Registration fees are tiered by age and date. For ages 13 and up the listed fees are $30 through April 5, $35 April 6 through October 30, and $40 on race day. Ages 6 to 12 are listed at $20, $25, and $30 for the same date ranges. Children age 5 and under are free and do not need to register. A shirt guarantee applies for registrations completed by September 30, 2026.
