HBOT4Heroes Run 4 Their Lives 5K
The HBOT4Heroes Run 4 Their Lives 5K is an inclusive community sports event held in Apex, North Carolina. The event takes place along the American Tobacco Trail at the White Oak Church Road Access near Raleigh. Participants can support the mission of HBOT4Heroes, a nonprofit organization that provides Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to veterans, first responders, and individuals dealing with traumatic brain injuries, PTSD, and other challenges.

This family-friendly event is open to runners, walkers, and those using strollers or mobility devices. Dogs on leashes are also welcome. Participants have the option to join a costume contest featuring hero-themed outfits, with awards presented for the top three most creative entries. On-site entertainment is provided by a live DJ.
Registration includes various tiers based on age, with participants under five years old able to join for free. Those who register by September 30 are guaranteed an event shirt. Additional options include dedicating a superhero cape at a personalization station or placing a tribute poster along the race course. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual participation option is available via a dedicated mobile app.
