2nd Annual HBCU Run & Brunch
The event takes place on September 19, 2026, at Rainbow Beach Park, East 77th Street, Chicago, Illinois. It is the second annual HBCU Run & Brunch and includes in-person and virtual race options alongside a post-race brunch program.
Race and participation options include both in-person and virtual distances and experiences. Post-race food and entertainment are organized at Hillman Yard with a general brunch area called The Pit and a paid VIP area called The iN Crowd Lounge. The VIP area lists reserved seating, upscale brunch selections, signature drinks, VIP-only bar access, DJ sets, and curated giveaways. Group discounts and tent space are available for groups of ten or more to represent college and community organizations.
Fundraising organizations connected to the event include the Hillman Recreation Foundation and Black Baseball Media Foundation NFP. Sponsors named in event materials include Advocate Health Care, The Listening Tree, and Electrolit.
