HBCU Run & Brunch
HBCU Run & Brunch is scheduled for September 19, 2026, at 3111 E 77th St in Chicago, IL. The event is presented by the Hillman Recreation Foundation and aims to celebrate Black excellence, promote holistic health, and bring together HBCU and PBI students, alumni, and Divine Nine members through movement, culture, and community. Organizers describe this as the event's second annual edition and as the first event of its kind on Chicago’s far South Side.
The event program includes multiple in-person and virtual options and a post-event brunch area at Hillman Yard. A VIP option called The iN Crowd Lounge offers reserved seating, upscale brunch selections, signature drinks with VIP-only bar access, curated giveaways, and dedicated entertainment. The Pit at Hillman Yard serves as the general brunch area with music and food vendors; runners are granted automatic access to the general brunch area and spectators can purchase a separate brunch pass.
