The 25 mile loop, called the Big Loop, is repeated by 100 mile runners and by 50 mile runners as described in the course materials. The route follows marked blue and white blazes and includes sections such as Sanders Mound, Lands End, the Goodwin Loop with Bunker Hill, and crossings of park roads. Course crossings are heavily marked; runners are responsible for following signs and blazes.
The race operates three staffed aid stations placed along the loop with varying crew and drop bag access: Lands End (no crew access), West Park Road (crew access), and the Start/Finish (crew access). Aid stations supply Tailwind and Honey Stinger products and a mix of food options. All distances are chip timed by Timer Guys and live updates are available on race day.
Logistics include a pre-race briefing and packet pickup the morning of the event and drop bag procedures with a short deadline before each start. The event has no refunds; race deferral and distance change policies apply with stated deadlines. Finishers receive distance specific items and awards are given across overall, gender, masters, and other categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
