Haunted Trail Run 5k/10k/HM
The Haunted Trail Run is a themed trail race held on October 31, 2026 at French Shelter Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event offers trail distances in a looped 5K format and includes family-friendly activities and extra games for children and adults. Gift cards are given away as part of the event.

- 10K (two loops of the 5K route)
- Half-Marathon (13.1 Miles) (four loops of the 5K route)
Entry fees are listed per event and include finisher recognition for many participants. All finishers receive a series finisher medal. Custom-designed Haunted Trail Run T-shirts are provided; entries made within 10 business days of the event will receive a T-shirt by mail. A best costume award is given at each live race and wearing a costume is encouraged but not required.
The event is part of the Alpine Trail Race Series. Participants earn series points and are eligible for yearly series awards, including travel opportunities for top series finishers. The series runs annually from March 1 to October 31 and awards are mailed on December 1. Race rules note that entry fees are non-refundable, organizers may cancel in extreme circumstances, no dogs are allowed on course, and walkers are welcome.
