Haunted Run 5K and Kids Fun Run

Haunted Run 5K and the Kids Fun Run and Costume Parade are hosted by Moving Mountains in Big Sky, Montana, to benefit Morningstar Learning Center. The 5K features Halloween-themed challenges and encourages participants to wear costumes. The 5K course follows a paved route through Grey Drake and Town Center.

The Kids Fun Run is open to ages 12 and under. Its route begins at Moving Mountains, proceeds down Town Center Avenue with festive obstacles, and finishes at the Visit Big Sky building where a Haunted House will be staged. Parents and siblings are encouraged to walk or run alongside children.

Registration for the 5K is $30 and includes a Haunted Run swag tote bag, a beverage from Beehive Basin Brewery, and one raffle ticket for a community prize basket. Additional raffle tickets are available for $5 each, with proceeds supporting Morningstar Learning Center. Registration for the Kids Race is $20 and includes a swag tote bag, a token valid for entry to the Haunted House at the Visit Big Sky building, and entry into the Moving Mountains Costume Contest.

Packet pick-up and registration take place at Moving Mountains earlier in the day, and additional registration for the Kids Fun Run will be open in the afternoon. A Block Party hosted by Beehive Basin Brewery and Moving Mountains follows the races, featuring live music and food trucks.
