Haspa Marathon Hamburg
The Haspa Marathon Hamburg is presented as Germany's largest spring marathon; the 40th edition drew over 46,000 registrations. The event includes multiple race formats and an accompanying Expo on the days before the race where exhibitors from running, endurance sport and lifestyle present products and services.

Participant services and race features include a finisher medal with an optional engraving service, medical first aid on the course and in the finish area, massage and shower facilities in the Athletes Area, and guarded bag drop. Timekeeping is provided via a mika-Tag transponder fixed to the back of the race number with contact mats at key points including km 10 and the finish; online results and downloadable certificates are made available after the race.
Logistics and rules noted for the half marathon: the start is at Alsterglacis and the finish is in Karolinenstraße; the start number is non transferable and must be worn visibly with a filled emergency information form on the back. Refreshment stations are placed every 5 km on the half marathon course offering water, electrolyte drinks, Hamburg tap water, bananas from km 10 and energy gels from km 20.
