Harvest Run for Sustainability
The 15th annual Harvest Run for Sustainability is scheduled for October 18, 2026, in the Intervale at 180 Intervale Rd, Burlington, VT. The event supports place-based learning at the Sustainability Academy and takes runners along farm fields and dirt roads in a family-friendly setting.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 5K Relay (2 person)
- 400 m Kids' Fun Run (free)
- 1 or 2 mile Fun Run (free)
Entry fees for the 5K are listed per the organizer: adults $15, kids and students $5, and a family option $25 with a multi-person discount. Relay team fees are $10 for kid/student teams and $20 for adult teams with a multi-person discount. Students who turn in pledge packets do not need to register or pay. Relay teams must register on race day.
The event also includes live music, snacks, kids' activities, and a post-race celebration with musical guests. Top finishers in male, female, non-binary, Sustainability Academy student, and Sustainability Academy relay categories will be recognized and receive small prizes.
