The 13th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Niles, Illinois. The start and finish are at Notre Dame College Prep High School, 7655 Dempster St., Niles, IL 60714. The event is hosted by the Niles Park District and includes two separate entries.

Registration and entry
Registration opens April 29, 2026. The listed entry price for the 5K Run/Walk is $25 (previous price shown as $30). The 5K Youth Run/Walk entry is listed at $10. The 5K Run/Walk entry is open to ages 19 to 99. The youth event is open to ages 1 to 18. Each participant will receive a participation medal to be picked up at the race.
Charity and donations
Proceeds benefit the Niles Family Services Food Pantry. Over the years the event has raised over $35,000 and has collected thousands of pounds of food for local families. Current pantry needs include cleaning supplies (highest priority), paper plates, plastic utensils and cups, and food items such as canned fruit and vegetables, tuna, individual cereals, oatmeal, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly, canned pasta, chili, and pasta sauce.
