Harvest Hustle 5K : Niles, Illinois
The 13th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K is scheduled for October 10, 2026 in Niles, Illinois. The event uses the parking lot of Notre Dame College Prep High School at 7655 W Dempster St as the start and finish location.
The event program includes these distances:
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
- 5K Youth Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
Registration opens April 29, 2026. Adult registration closes October 3, 2026 with a registration fee of $25.00. Youth registration closes October 8, 2026 with a registration fee of $10.00. Runners receive a race package on the day of the event. Each participant receives a participation medal available for pickup at the race.
Proceeds and donations benefit Niles Family Services Food Pantry. Over the years the event has raised more than $35,000 and has collected thousands of pounds of food for local families. The food pantry’s current highest priority is cleaning supplies. Other needed items include paper plates, plastic utensils, cups, and nonperishable foods such as canned fruit and vegetables, tuna, individual cereal, oatmeal, crackers, rice, peanut butter, jelly, canned pasta, chili, and pasta sauce.
