Harmon Field Half Marathon & Morris Fun Run

The Harmon Field Half Marathon & Morris Fun Run takes place on April 25, 2026, at Harmon Field in Tryon, North Carolina. The event is described as the inaugural running of the Harmon Field Half Marathon after repairs to Harmon Field following Hurricane Helene in 2024. Proceeds will support Harmon Field special projects.

The half marathon is an out-and-back course through the Hunting Country of Polk County, NC. The Morris Fun Run is a 2-mile route around Harmon Field intended for children and families. Morris is a local Tryon horse statue located at the intersection of Trade Street and Pacolet Street in Downtown Tryon.

Awards and age divisions

Awards for the half marathon include top male and female in Overall and Masters categories, plus top three male and female in each age group. Age divisions begin at 12 and under and proceed through standard ranges up to 80+.
