Hardisty Trail Run 2026
Trail running event in Hardisty, Alberta, located at 48 Avenue. The trails run through rolling hills and combine historic paths with newly cut trails around the town.
Course highlights include visible features such as the Trestle Bridge, the golf course, overlooks of Hardisty Lake, sections through the Battle River Valley, and a cobbled stretch known as Old Hardisty Road, formerly part of Highway 13.
Distances offered
- 10 km trail that passes the Trestle Bridge, golf course and lake overlook
- 5 km route through the Battle River Valley and Old Hardisty Road
- 2 km kids loop on 60 plus year old historical trails
The kids course is not stroller accessible because of a narrow gate and two very uneven hills. Parents may accompany children free of charge.
Prizes are awarded for first, second and third in age categories for the listed events: 10 km run, 5 km run, 5 km walk and 2 km kids. The first fifty registrations receive a slim adjustable waist belt in the bib package.
Bib transfers can be completed on the morning of the event if the recipient appears and requests the registered name. Day of signups are allowed with a 20 percent surcharge and require cash or e transfer payment. As of May 15 2026 all sales are final no refunds.
