Hardisty Trail Run 2026
The event takes place on June 20, 2026 in Hardisty, Alberta at 48 Avenue. Trails run through rolling hills and mix historic paths with newly cut trails around the town.
Available distances:
- 10 km roughly 10.6 km, includes a trestle bridge, the golf course, and overlooks Hardisty Lake
- 5 km tour of the Battle River Valley, returns on the cobbled Old Hardisty Road
- 2 km Kids uses historical trails over 60 years old, hill covered and not stroller accessible
The first 50 registrations receive a slim adjustable waist belt in the bib package. Prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd in age categories for the 10 km run, 5 km run, 5 km walk, and 2 km kids race. Bib transfers can be completed the morning of the event if the receiving runner appears and requests the original registrant's name. As of May 15, 2026 all sales are final and no refunds are issued. Day of signups are allowed at a premium rate and require cash or e-transfer. Volunteers retain the right to refuse package issuance if doing so would interrupt the event flow.
