Harborun : Veterans Memorial Park, Elk Rapids
Harborun is part of the Harbor Days tradition and takes place on August 8, 2026 at Veterans Memorial Park in Elk Rapids, Michigan. The event includes in-person and virtual running and walking options. Proceeds support Elk Rapids Schools Cross Country and Track & Field programs. The course is described as fast and flat with some views of Lake Michigan.

Registration pricing varies by date: April through August 6 is $25, August 7 is $30, and August 8 is $35. Virtual options are $20 through race day; virtual entries do not include a t-shirt, bib, or awards, and results are uploaded manually beginning on race day. T-shirts are available with the 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 10K Run registrations; the cutoff date to guarantee a t-shirt is July 10.
Early packet pickup is at the white tent near the road at Veterans Memorial Park, with pickup on the Friday before the event from 5pm to 7pm and on race day from 7am to 8am. Awards are given for the 5K Run and 10K Run only; age-group awards cover brackets from 1–7 up to 95–120, and overall awards include 1st place by gender, Master (40+), and Grand Master (60+).
