Harborun takes place on 08/08/2026 near 9060 N Bayshore Drive in Elk Rapids, Michigan. The event program includes in-person and virtual events with a kids run and multiple distance options.

The start and finish are near 9060 N Bayshore Drive. The 5K and 10K courses run out and back on N Bayshore; the 10K also loops in and out of E and W Harbor Drive. The course is described as flat and includes views of Lake Michigan.
Registration pricing: April through August 6 is $25, August 7 is $30, and August 8 is $35. Virtual entries are $20 through race day; virtual entries do not include a t-shirt, bib, or awards and results must be uploaded manually starting on race day. The Kid's Fun Run has no registration fee.
T-shirts are available with 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 10K Run registrations; July 10 is the cutoff date to guarantee a t-shirt. Early packet pickup location is to be announced; pickup times are Friday 5-7pm and race day 6:30-7:30am.
Proceeds support Elk Rapids Schools Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Age-group and overall awards apply to the 5K Run and 10K Run only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
