Harborun takes place in Elk Rapids, Michigan on August 8, 2026. The event is part of Harbor Days and includes on-site and virtual options along N Bayshore Drive.

Proceeds support Elk Rapids Schools Cross Country and Track & Field programs. The course is described as fast and flat with some views of Lake Michigan.
Registration pricing is tiered: registration is $25 through August 6, $30 on August 7, and $35 on August 8. Virtual entries are $20 available through race day; virtual entries do not include a t-shirt, bib, or awards and require manual upload of results beginning on race day. Specific event registration windows and fees are listed for each race.
T-shirts are included with 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 10K Run registrations. The cutoff date for a guaranteed t-shirt is July 10.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday 5-7pm at a location to be announced. Race day packet pickup is scheduled for 6:30-7:30am. Awards are given for the 5K Run and 10K Run only, with age-group categories including 1-7, 8-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, and five-year bands up to 95-120, plus overall winners by gender, Master 40+, and Grand Master 60+.
