Happy Valley Humdinger is a fall running event in Happy Valley, North Carolina on October 24, 2026. The main event is a point to point 5K that travels through the valley and follows the Yadkin River before finishing at the Happy Valley Filling Station.

The course surface is approximately 90% hardtop and 10% natural surface. Most of the route uses a public, low traffic hard top secondary road and the course also traverses a mowed grass field. Packet pick up is available at the Happy Valley Filling Station the day before and there is on site packet pick up at the starting line on race day.

Registration details list an opening date of April 1, 2026. The 5K registration window closes August 15, 2026 and carries a listed fee of $30. The kids race registration closes October 23, 2026 with an advance fee of $5 and a race day fee of $10. Register by October 12 to guarantee an event shirt size.

Event services include a gear check for runners, shuttle service between the start area and the finish running approximately every 20 minutes through the afternoon, and designated parking areas for runners and guests. The finish area features an after race party with music, wood fired pizza, and beer. Every registered runner age 21 and over receives a full pour of Happy Valley Filling Station craft beer after the race. A costume contest is offered with adult and kids winner and runner up awards.
