Happy Valley Half Marathon & 5K
The Happy Valley Half Marathon & 5K is a road running event held in Northampton, Massachusetts during October 2025. The event offers two race distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 5K
The course is designed to showcase roads in Western Massachusetts during peak fall foliage. The finish area includes live music, food trucks, breweries and beverage options, and provides a post-race gathering space for participants and the local running community.
The event raises funds for Transforming Emergency Care, the campaign for the Cooley Dickinson Emergency Department. Sponsorship and participant support contribute to the local hospital and community health initiatives.
The organizer has a no refunds, no deferments, and no bib transfers policy going forward. If the event cannot be held as planned due to COVID, inclement weather, or other unforeseen issues, registered participants will be granted entry into a future race at no additional charge.
