Event overview
HAPPY TRAILS takes place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Wildwood Metropark, 5100 Central Avenue, Toledo, OH 43615. The event includes two distance options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile walk
The event is organized by Dave's Running Shop in partnership with Metroparks Toledo and produced by Run Toledo. Funds raised will go directly to support Metroparks Toledo.
Course, pricing, awards and extras
The 5K course uses both paved and unpaved trails. The 1 Mile walk is on paved trails and is described as family and stroller friendly. Family pricing is available for combined entries of four or more for the 5K and the 1 Mile walk.
Current entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $27 for the 1 Mile walk. Prices increase after May 18, 2026, at 11:59pm EDT. The 5K awards include overall male and female, overall master and grand masters, and top three male and female in five-year age groups from 9 & under through 75+. Registered participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom Happy Trails T-shirt.
