Happy Soles 5k Run/Walk/Bike & Virtual Challenge
The event takes place on June 6, 2027 at Taylor Heritage Park Sheridan Pavilion in Taylor, Michigan. Participants may walk, run, or bike the course in the park or join the virtual 5K option. Distances offered include:
- 5K run, walk, bike, and virtual options
- 10K combined bike and run option
All proceeds support Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry. In 2025 participants helped Fish & Loaves purchase 3.5 million pounds of food to serve over 50,000 households. For 2026, 100% of proceeds will help the pantry purchase food for households.
The event includes fundraising features. Participants can create a fundraising page in their dashboard to track donations and share progress with friends and family. The first 300 participants receive a Happy Soles medal. Registration by May 11 guarantees a T-shirt; event t-shirts run big.
Packet pickup is available at Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry and at the event. The event is presented as the 17th Annual Happy Soles 5K and focuses on raising funds for the food pantry through activity and community contributions.
