The Happy Soles event takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Taylor Heritage Park, Sheridan Pavilion, 12111 Pardee Road, Taylor, MI 48180. The event offers multiple ways to complete a 5k, including a live run/walk, a bike option, and a virtual 5k. There is a separate entry for Veterans & First Responders that requires verification. Logistics and charity information
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 31 at Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry, 25670 Northline, Taylor, MI 48180, and also at the event location on June 1. Registrations close on June 6, 2026. The event is presented as the 16th annual Happy Soles 5k and states that 100% of all proceeds will help Fish & Loaves purchase food for households in 2025. In 2024 participants helped the pantry purchase 3.2 million pounds of food to feed over 50,000 households. The first 300 participants will receive a Happy Soles medal, and registrants who register by May 11 are guaranteed an event t-shirt (t-shirts run large).
