Happy Soles 5k Run/Walk/Bike & Virtual Challenge
The Happy Soles event takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Taylor Heritage Park Sheridan Pavilion, 12111 Pardee Road, Taylor, MI 48180. The event offers multiple participation options including an in-person 5k run or walk, a Veterans and First Responders category (verification required), a Bike 5k, a Virtual 5k, and a Bike 5k plus 5k Run combo.
All proceeds from this 17th annual event support Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry. The organizer reports that in 2025 participants helped Fish & Loaves purchase 3.5 million pounds of food to feed more than 50,000 households, and that 100% of proceeds from this event will be used to purchase food for households in 2026. Fundraising pages can be created within participant dashboards to track and share fundraising efforts.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry, 25670 Northline, Taylor, MI, and pickup will also be available on the day of the event. The first 300 participants will receive a Happy Soles medal. T-shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations completed by May 11; event t-shirts run large.
