Happy Halloween Half Marathon - Long Beach
Happy Halloween is a costume-friendly running event on Saturday, October 31, 2026, held on the Belmont Shores beach path in Long Beach, California, at 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. The event offers multiple distances and uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path. The course is open to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists, so participants should be courteous.

The 5K is a single out-and-back. The 10K and 15K use multiple 5K loops. The half marathon is run as three 4.36-mile loops. An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and GU gels. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies to the half marathon; an early start may be arranged if more time is needed.
Each registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, live results at finish, free photos linked to bib number, and free videos and race highlight reels. Age group awards are provided and must be picked up at the race. Race-day registration fees and payment options are published; race-day entry is available for a fee. Transfers to another date or participant are allowed; there is a no-refund policy. Parking is free in nearby residential areas, with paid beach parking also available.
