Happy Half Marathon, Hoppy 5K, and Kids Run : Springfield, Ohio
The event offers multiple running options in downtown Springfield and supports the Mercu Health Springfield Cancer Center. The course is organized in cooperation with City of Springfield officials and Wittenberg University and highlights features of the city.
The race began in 2012 when family members ran a 13.1 mile route between Springfield and Yellow Springs to train for a full marathon and to raise funds for cancer treatment. The event now draws more than 300 participants.

Registration fees are tiered. Sample fees listed include early and later registration amounts for the half marathon and 5K, and a multiple-event Champion City Challenge fee. The Kids Fun Run fee is $30. For every five referrals a participant makes, a $5 refund is issued; a unique referral code is provided in the registration confirmation email.
