Hampton Rotary Firecracker 5K Run and 1K Walk
The Hampton Rotary Firecracker event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Hampton Community Park, ALCOA Pavilion, 3101 McCully Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. It is the 20th annual running and walking event organized by the Hampton Rotary Club.
There are two distance options:
- 5K run or walk
- 1K walk only
Registration opens March 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30.00. Tech-style race shirts are guaranteed to registrants who register before the event's shirt order deadline. Participants receive a goodie bag and post-event food and drinks; walkers are offered the same shirt, the same participation medal, a different bib, pizza, and fellowship but do not receive finish medals.
Awards are given to the top 3 overall men and women, and to the top 3 in each age group for men and women. Age groups are 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Funds raised by the event support educational and charitable activities sponsored by the Hampton Rotary Club. The 1K walk route is presented as an alternative to the steeper section on the run course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
