About the race
The Hampton Court Half Marathon takes place on 14th February, 2027. It is the original Hampton Court event, marking its 14th year, and is organised by River Thames Running around the river-side grounds of Hampton Court Palace. The race is a measured half marathon (Run England Licence ID 29892) on a fast, flat, multi-surface course with about two miles of good gravel path and otherwise even terrain. The route is described as visually interesting and passes Hampton Court Palace; Tudor-themed spectators are noted on the course.
There are four water stations at approximately 2.4 miles, 7 miles and 10 miles. The course is fully marshalled, includes sweep marshals, and has full professional first aid cover. Pacers will be present. Participants receive a technical tee and a finisher medal, free race photos, and a goody bag with post-race snacks and drink.
Prizes for male and female finishers include store vouchers: 1st £100, 2nd £75, 3rd £50, plus a free entry into another River Thames Running event. Minimum age on race day is 17. Entries are priced with club and non-club rates; club entry example shown as £40 plus a £2.50 transaction fee (£42.50) and non-club as £42 plus a £2.50 transaction fee (£44.50). Entries are non-transferable and non-deferrable; a full refund is available only within 14 days of payment.
