Halloween Sunset Dunes 5K - San Francisco, CA
The Halloween Sunset Dunes 5K takes place on October 25, 2026, along the Great Highway bike path at Taraval and Great Highway in San Francisco. The course is paved, flat, and set up as an out and back route along the beachfront path.

- 1/2 mile Kids Run for children ages 12 and under, held at the same start and finish location.
Parking is available with free street parking along Lower Great Highway and at Ocean Beach. Ribbons are given to all finishers, and place ribbons are awarded to the top five overall male, female, and nonbinary runners. The event is held rain or shine and the organizer states there are no refunds.
The organizer is DSE Runners and the standard entry fee listed is $10 for the 5K individual category. For safety and insurance reasons, baby joggers, dogs, and use of headphones are not permitted.
