Halloween Leftovers Half Marathon - Long Beach, CA
This event on November 1, 2026 takes place at Alamitos Beach, 780 E Shoreline Dr., Long Beach, CA. Multiple race distances are offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 Mile
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
Courses are out-and-back on the beach path. The 5K route is used for the 5K and 10K; the 5 Mile route is used for the 10 Mile; the Half Marathon combines two laps of the 5 Mile route and one lap of the 5K route. The beach path is an open course shared with others; runners are asked to keep to the right side for pedestrians while cyclists use the left side.
On-course support includes a fully stocked water station and a finish aid station with water, electrolytes, and snacks. Each station carries a first aid kit and the crew members have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, a runner turn sign, and flags.
Operational details note early bib pick-up at Sports Basement Long Beach the day before the race and on-site bib pick-up the morning of the event. Parking in the lot costs $2 per hour and street parking is free. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag. All finishers receive a medal and overall first place male and female receive 1st place medals per distance. Results and race photos are sent the day after the event and race photos are free.
