Halloween Hustle 8K
The Halloween Hustle is a running and walking event held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Lake St Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, Michigan. The event is based at the Thomas Welch Activity Center, with the start and finish line located outside this building.
The event offers several race distances:
- 8K Run
- 5K Run/Walk
- Fun Run (approximately 0.5 miles)
- Virtual 5K and 8K options
A costume contest with categories such as Most Creative (two age divisions), Best Crazy Hair, and Best Group is part of the event. Participants can enter the contest at a photo booth on race day. Registration includes a gender-specific sublimated event shirt, a glow-in-the-dark finisher medal, chip timing, race photos, and post-race refreshments. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each standard age group.
Early packet pickup is available on Thursday, October 22nd, at Hanson's Running Shop. Onsite registration and packet pickup open at 7:45 AM on race day.
