Halloween Hustle 5K : Palatine event information
The Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, with the start and finish located at Adrenaline Special Events, 345 N Eric Dr, Palatine, IL (between Colfax and Cornell). The event includes an in-person 5K, a short Kids Dash, and a virtual 5K option open nationwide.

Packet pick up is available the day before the race at Dick Pond Athletics in Hoffman Estates and on race day at the Adrenaline Special Events location; a per-packet fee applies for race day pickup if pre-race pickup is missed. There is a packet shipping option for $15.95; packets ship via USPS and mailing closes two weeks before the race.
All 5K participants receive a long-sleeve dri-fit shirt, finisher medal, and timing bib, plus a complimentary beer or soft drink at Tap House Grill. Kids Dash participants receive a bib, finisher medal, kids shirt, and a pumpkin. Timing uses a disposable B-Tag attached to the bib; bibs must be visible, unaltered, pinned, and uncovered for accurate times. Results will be posted on-site and available live. Age-group and overall awards include customized ASE medals for top finishers; age groups range from 10 and under through 85 and older.
