Halloween Hustle 5K & Kids Dash - Palatine, IL
The Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026 in Palatine, Illinois, at the Adrenaline Special Event Office (345 N Eric Dr, Palatine, IL 60067). The event includes an in-person 5K, a Kids Dash, and a virtual 5K option.

Race packets can be picked up in advance at Dick Pond Athletics in Hoffman Estates or on race day under the event tents; packet shipping is available for a fee of $15.95 and packets are mailed before the race. Each registrant receives race swag including a long sleeve shirt, finisher medal, and race bib; the event also notes a free breakfast sandwich and beer at Tap House Grill.
Awards are given to the top three overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, with age groups beginning at 10 and under and extending through 85 and over. The event uses a disposable B-Tag timing system with the chip attached to the back of the bib. Strollers are allowed with placement requests, dogs are asked to stay home, and walkers are welcome.
