Event information
The New Year 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on January 3, 2026, at Stith-Talbert Park in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The event offers the following distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back loop of 0.78 miles (one out-and-back equals 1.56 miles). The 5K completes that out-and-back two times; the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile loop (one out-and-back equals 2.18 miles) and repeats that out-and-back six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
