US Road Running - Punta Gorda

Event overview
The New Year race is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, FL (670 Cooper St, 33950). The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards are offered.
Course and logistics
Courses are on asphalt. Parking is available by the baseball fields. Bathrooms are located by the starting line.
Course layouts:
- The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment (0.78 miles one way, 1.56 miles out-and-back). The 5K repeats this out-and-back two times; the 10K repeats it four times.
- The Half Marathon uses a longer out-and-back segment (1.09 miles one way, 2.18 miles out-and-back) and repeats that out-and-back six times.
