Event Information

The Medal Madness event takes place in Lansing, Michigan at Hawk Island Park, located at 1601 E Cavanaugh Rd. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026. Participants can register for one of three race distances.

Course Details

All races follow an out-and-back format starting at the same time. The 5K and 10K share a common course loop of 1.56 miles (3.11 miles out-and-back). The 5K covers this loop once, while the 10K completes it twice.

The Half Marathon course uses a separate 1.64-mile loop (2.275 miles out-and-back). Participants running the half marathon distance complete this loop four times.

Registration and Logistics

All runners must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before the start. The course has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
