Event overview
The New Year race at McCollum Park Athletic Field in Everett, WA takes place on January 10, 2026. The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. Parking is at the North Creek Trail.
Course and other details
Organizers describe the 5K and 10K as using the same out-and-back segment: a 0.78-mile section that forms a 1.56-mile out-and-back. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09-mile segment described as a 2.16-mile out-and-back and repeats that segment six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
