The Medal Madness event takes place at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The address is 285 Meadowlark Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
Distances
The event offers four race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
Course Information
The races use two different out-and-back loop courses. The 5K and 10K share a shorter loop of 3.11 miles. The Half Marathon and Marathon share a longer loop of 3.28 miles. Runners complete these loops a specific number of times: the 5K does one loop, the 10K does two loops, the Half Marathon does four loops, and the Marathon does eight loops.
Logistics
There is a six-hour time limit for the courses. All runners must register online via RunSignup. There is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start time and ends 10 minutes before the race begins.
