Event information
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place in Gadsden, Alabama, at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. The event includes three race distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The course surface is pea gravel. - 5K - two repeats of a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment.
- 10K - four repeats of a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment.

Event materials note that GPS devices may direct drivers to a small building on Old S 4th Street; in that case, attendees should go south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot.
