The Gobbler race takes place on November 22, 2025, in Gadsden, Alabama at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A contact form is available for questions.
Course and logistics
The courses are on a pea gravel trail behind the Gadsden Mall. Organizer-provided route notes list the 5K and 10K segment as (0.78M) with an out-and-back of (1.56M); the 5K repeats that out-and-back two times and the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon segment is shown as (1.09M) with an out-and-back of (3.18M); the Half Marathon repeats that out-and-back six times. Course maps are provided by the organizer.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the start. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Finisher medals, race shirts, a best costume contest, series points, and awards are noted by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
