The New Year 5K, 10K, & 13.1M in Charlotte, NC takes place on January 3, 2026 at Marion Diehl Park, 2229 Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The event is organized by US Road Running.
Course and logistics
The start is next to Marion Diehl Adaptive Field. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course; the 5K completes the course once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back course repeated four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, costume recognition, series points, and awards are listed as part of the event program.
