Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on January 31, 2026, at Blount Cultural Park in Montgomery, AL (1 Festival Dr, Montgomery, AL 36117). The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Parking is available in the large parking lot in the center of the park or at the Scenic Open Space. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume element, series points, and awards. A FAQ and additional race information are provided by the event organizer.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a measured route described as 0.78 miles with an out-and-back of 1.56 miles. The 5K completes the out-and-back two times; the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a route described as 1.09 miles with an out-and-back of 2.18 miles; the half marathon completes that out-and-back six times.
