The Medal Madness event in Montgomery, Alabama is scheduled for January 31, 2026 at Blount Cultural Park (1 Festival Dr, Montgomery, AL 36117). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a short segment of about 0.78 miles that forms an out-and-back of about 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice; the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a segment of about 1.09 miles that forms an out-and-back of about 2.18 miles; the half marathon completes that out-and-back six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Parking is advised in the large parking lot in the center of the park or at Scenic Open Space.
