Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for January 24, 2026, at Blount Cultural Park in Montgomery, AL (36117). The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Registration is handled through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration. The event is organized by US Road Running Races. Finisher medals will be provided, and apparel and gear are available through the event shop. The event also includes a best costume category, series points, and awards.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use a repeated out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice; the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.18 miles and repeats it six times. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Parking is available in the large parking lot in the center of Blount Cultural Park or at the Scenic Open Space. A contact form is provided for questions.
