The Medal Madness event is scheduled for March 28, 2026 in Colonial Heights, Virginia at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing access. The event offers multiple race distances and has a course time limit of 6 hours. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Parking is available at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing, with limited spaces.
Courses and extras
The event uses out-and-back loop courses for both the shorter and longer races. Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1)
- Marathon (26.2)
Course layout details:
- The 5K/10K route is an out-and-back of 3.11 miles. The 5K completes the route once; the 10K completes it twice.
- The half marathon and marathon route is an out-and-back of 3.275 miles. The half marathon completes that loop four times; the marathon completes it eight times.
Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards are listed as part of the event offerings and are managed by US Road Running.
