The Medal Madness event takes place on March 28, 2026, at Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing Access in Colonial Heights, Virginia (265 Charles H Dimmock Pkwy, 23834). The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1)
- Marathon (26.2)
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course; the 5K completes the route once and the 10K twice. The half marathon and marathon use a separate out-and-back route; the half repeats that route four times and the marathon eight times. A six-hour course time limit is in place.
All runners must register online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Participants are asked to park at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing; parking is limited.
