Hagley 5K/1K Along the Brandywine
The event is the 9th annual 5K and 1K run/walk held at Hagley Museum, Library and Soda House Entrance, 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807. The course follows the Brandywine River and passes through the museum's 235 acres of landscape and historic grounds.

Registration for both events opens 11/13/2026. Registration for the 5K closes 3/21/2027; the 5K registration fee is $30. Registration for the 1K closes 4/24/2027; the 1K registration fee is $20. Corporate and community teams are encouraged. There is no age requirement for either event.
The event benefits the Hagley Field Trip Fund; past efforts have supported visits for over 2,600 students. Registrants receive free admission to Hagley Museum for two weeks following the event, through May 9, 2027.
Awards include overall male and female winners plus the top three male and female finishers in each of these age groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and older. Day-of bib pick-up and check-in take place in front of the Hagley Library. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
