Hagley 5K Along the Brandywine

The Hagley 5K/1K Along the Brandywine is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hagley Museum in Wilmington, Delaware. The event is the eighth annual run/walk and follows a course along the Brandywine River through the museum's 235 acres. Proceeds support Hagley’s field trip fund for area schools; previous events raised enough money for over 2,600 students to visit Hagley. The 2025 theme is "Chasing the Sun," and participants are invited to wear red, yellow, and orange or sun-themed costumes.

Registration opens November 14, 2025. Current entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K. Bib pick-up and check-in are available on race day starting at 7:30am in front of the Hagley Library. Corporate and community teams are encouraged. After registering, participants receive a unique referral URL; when five friends register with that URL, a discount applies ($10 off a 5K fee or $5 off a 1K fee). Awards include overall male and female winners and top three male/female in age groups from "14 and under" through "70 and older." An awards ceremony will take place near the finish line.
