The Hagley 5K/1K Along the Brandywine takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Hagley Museum (Library and Soda House Entrance), 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807. The event is held on the museum grounds and along the Brandywine River, passing through 235 acres of the Hagley property.

Categories, awards and logistics
The listed registration fee for the 5K is $30 (previous price shown as $40); the price increases after March 22, 2026. The 1K fee is $20; registration closes April 25, 2026. The 1K is open to ages 3 and up. Bib pick-up and check-in are available on the day of the event in front of the Hagley Library.
Awards are given overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and older. An awards ceremony will take place near the finish line.
Charity, museum access and team options
Proceeds support the Hagley Field Trip Fund, which provides museum visits for underserved students; the organizer reports more than 2,600 students have been served and a fundraising goal of $4,500 for 2026. Registration includes free admission to Hagley for the two weeks following the event, through May 10, 2026. Participants may create or join corporate and community teams. After five friends register using a registrant’s unique referral URL, the registrant receives a $10 discount on the 5K fee or a $5 discount on the 1K fee.
