Hadleigh Legacy 10k : event details
Hadleigh Legacy 10k is an off-road 10k race at Hadleigh Country Park, Chapel Lane, Hadleigh, Essex (SS7 2PP). The listed next edition is on 22 February 2026. The event is organised by Castle Point Joggers and is managed/listed by Nice Work Race Management. The race offers an elite wave with further wave starts in the main race. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. An on-the-day entry fee is shown as £30 (subject to availability). The event does not support refunds or deferrals.
Course and logistics
The course is a single lap trail route described as undulating, with hills, muddy sections, footpaths, fields, and kissing and latch gates within the Hadleigh Castle grounds. The route is GPS measured but uncertified because of its multi-terrain nature. It is marked with route arrows, cones, and marshals; the circuit is closed but may include occasional walkers or dog walkers. Route maps and GPX files are available for download. There is on-site parking (charges apply) and the car park is a short walk from Race HQ; the nearest railway station is Benfleet, which is about a 2.5 mile walk to the Race HQ and may require a taxi.
