Event details
The Hadleigh Legacy 10k is scheduled for 22/02/2026 at Hadleigh Country Park, Chapel Lane, Hadleigh, Essex SS7 2PP. The event is an off-road 10k trail race on undulating terrain. On-the-day entries are listed at £30 for the 10k. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. The organiser does not offer refunds or deferrals. Race-day information and wave details are sent to registered entrants prior to the event.
Course and logistics
The route is a single-lap trail course that uses footpaths, fields, and trails and includes steep hills, muddy sections, and kissing and latch gates. The course is GPS-measured but uncertified because of its multi-terrain nature. The route will be clearly marked with arrows, cones, and marshals. The circuit is closed but may include occasional walkers or dog walkers.
Parking is available on site for a charge; the car park is a short walk from the Race HQ. Entrants who need closer parking for disability reasons can contact the organiser for direction. The nearest railway station is Benfleet, which is about a 2.5 mile walk to the Race HQ or a short taxi ride. An elite wave will be followed by further wave starts as part of the main race.
