GYO Freedom Fun Run 5K
The Gentry Youth Organization presents the third annual "Freedom Fest 5K Racing Towards Brighter Futures" in Gentry, AR. The event is based at the Gentry Sports Complex and the course is routed through downtown Gentry to coincide with the local Freedom Fest.
The event features a 5K run open to all ages and both male and female participants. First, second, and third place finishers in the male and female categories receive a fireworks package. Every runner receives a medal and a sparkler at the finish line.
Registration options and fees are listed for the event. The standard 5K entry fee is $35. Registrations completed by June 1 include a t shirt. The entry fee increases to $40 after July 3 2026. A discounted entry fee of $21 is available for military personnel, veterans, police, fire, EMS, and first responders with the same t shirt condition for early registration. A separate option labeled Just Give Me The Shirt is available for $20. A supporter option with a zero dollar entry is listed for those who wish to make a donation.
