Event Overview
The Guyandotte River Run takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Hanover, West Virginia. The event offers three distances: Half marathon, 10k, and 5k.
Course and Location
The course follows the Guyandotte River on a paved, former railroad line. Participants will see old mile markers along the route. Runners in the half marathon and 10k distances will pass through an old railroad tunnel. The event start and finish point is at 15205 R.D Bailey Hwy in Hanover.
Event Details
The event is open to runners and walkers. Official timing is provided by the AP Timing Group. Trophies are awarded to the top male and female finishers in each race distance. All participants receive a tumbler. Post-race snacks and fruit are provided.
