Gunstock Trail Run 5K and 10K
The event is held on the trails of Gunstock Ranch, a working horse and cattle ranch on Oahu's north shore. The ranch covers about 900 acre at the base of the Koʻolau mountains and includes views of windward Oahu and the Hawaii Legacy Forest, a protected area with native Hawaiian trees. The course runs on ranch trails that can be rugged; organizers recommend sturdy trail shoes and arriving 45 to 60 minutes early for parking, check in, and timing chip pickup.
Both race routes follow the same trail for about one mile before splitting. The 10 km course continues on a longer loop up through the ranch, while the 5 km follows the shorter route. Each race culminates with a passage past the ranch lookout, then a downhill section to the finish.
Registration notes provided by the organizer include a t shirt guarantee for entries completed by September 25, 2026, and early bird pricing available prior to September 17, 2026. Student and military discounts are available using codes STUDENT2026 or MILITARY2026 for a ten dollar reduction. Listed entry fees include USD 40 for the 5K and USD 50 for the 10K.
