Gunstock Trail Run 5K and 10K
The event takes place at Gunstock Ranch, 56-250 Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI 96731, on a working horse and cattle ranch that covers about 900 acres at the base of the Koʻolau mountains. The property includes views of windward Oahu and the Hawaii Legacy Forest, a protected area of native Hawaiian trees.
Distances offered:
- 5K course follows the shared trail for about one mile then its own route.
- 10K continues on a longer route through the ranch after the shared section.
Both routes pass the ranch lookout with wide views of windward Oahu, then descend toward the finish line. The courses run on ranch trails; organizers note the terrain is rugged and recommend sturdy trail footwear.
Listed entry fees appear as $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Early bird pricing applies before September 17, 2026. Student and military discounts of $10 are available with the codes STUDENT2026 or MILITARY2026. Registration received by September 25 guarantees a race T-shirt.
