Gunstock Trail Run 5K & 10K - Kahuku, HI
The Gunstock Trail Run offers two distance options on trails within Gunstock Ranch, located at 56-250 Kamehameha Hwy in Kahuku, Hawaii. The ranch covers 900 acres at the base of the Koʻolau mountains and includes views of windward Oahu and the Hawaii Legacy Forest, a protected area with native Hawaiian trees.
Both races share the same route for about one mile before the trail splits and the 10K continues on a longer loop through the ranch. Each course passes a lookout point with expansive views and finishes with a downhill section to the finish line. The organizer describes the routes as very challenging and notes that the ranch is a working horse and cattle operation; participants are advised to use rugged trail shoes.
Registration information lists entry fees and discount options. A registration option for the 5K is shown at $40 and for the 10K at $50. Student and military discounts of $10 are available using the codes STUDENT2026 or MILITARY2026. Registrations completed by September 25 guarantee a race t shirt.
