Event Overview
The Gunselman's Leprechaun Chase is a running and walking event with two distances: a 5k and a 1 mile. The event benefits Empowering Epilepsy, an organization that connects people with epilepsy to experts and peers for education, care, and friendship.
Course and Location
The race starts and finishes at the Fairview High School track in Fairview Park, Ohio. The event is described as dog and stroller friendly.
Runner Perks
Participants receive a Leprechaun Chase t-shirt. There is a custom finisher medal for both the 5k and 1 mile distances, and a custom pin for the 5k. The event includes post-race food and drinks, with one drink ticket for Gunselman's Tavern. An all-day party with Irish music is held at Gunselman's Tavern after the race.
Awards and Challenges
Awards are given to top finishers in the 5k. There is a "beat the leprechaun" challenge, with an additional prize for participants who do so.
