Gunselman's Leprechaun Chase 5k Run/Walk
The Gunselman's Leprechaun Chase takes place Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Fairview High School Track in Fairview Park, Ohio. The event offers two measured distances for participants:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk/Run
The event benefits Empowering Epilepsy. Net proceeds support the organization’s programs to connect people with epilepsy to experts and peers for education, care, and community support. The race is organized as a community fundraiser and includes options for individuals and teams to fundraise.
Participant amenities listed by the organizer include a post-race gathering at Gunselman's Tavern with Irish music, awards for top finishers in the 5K, a Leprechaun Chase T-shirt, custom finisher medals and a pin, post-race food and drinks, and a drink ticket for Gunselman's Tavern. There is an additional prize for participants who beat the Leprechaun. The event is described as dog and stroller friendly.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Gunselman's Tavern on Lorain Road and there is packet pickup and day-of registration at Fairview High School on race day.
