Gullane Beach Triathlon 2026
The Gullane Beach Triathlon is a sea swim based standard distance triathlon held at Gullane Bents on the East Lothian coast. The 30th annual event takes place on 6 September 2026 and offers individual and team entry options.
Distances and course format:
- Swim: 1500 m, two-lap sea swim in Gullane Bay, includes a beach run.
- Bike: 42 km, multi-lap course on quiet roads near Gullane.
- Run: 10 km, two laps mainly off-road with sea views.
Entry options include the full triathlon, relay teams of three with each member completing one discipline, and single-discipline combinations offered as Swim-Bike and Bike-Run only. Entries closed on 2 August 2026 and the event status is closed.
A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not British Triathlon Home Nation members. For this event the Race Pass costs are £2.00 plus a £0.08 service charge for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 plus a £0.32 service charge for others.
