Hammer Down Multisport hosts the Gulf Coast Conservation Trailfest at Panama City Beach Conservation Park. The park covers about 2,900 acres and includes roughly 24 miles of trails plus more than a mile of boardwalks passing through cypress domes. The city established the park in cooperation with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for runners, hikers, bikers, and nature visitors.

The course is described as a flat, compact sand trail with some gravel in places. The organizer provides a nine hour cutoff for the event. On-course support includes water, Gatorade and snacks, and there is food available after the race; participants are advised to bring personal fluids as well. Packet pickup is provided before the race, with additional pickup available the morning of the event from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
