Gruesome Twosome 22K, 11K, 5K & 1K
The event takes place at Aldergrove Regional Park in Aldergrove, British Columbia on August 22, 2026. It is hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc. in support of BabyGoRound and has a participant limit of 280. A virtual option is available and virtual packages are mailed in advance.
Distances offered:
- 22K - double loop of the 11K course, mixed flat trails and undulating hills.
- 11K - mix of flat wide trails and rolling hills.
- 5K - mainly flat packed trails with a few short hills.
- 1K - approximately 1.1 km non technical fun run on park paths.
Aldergrove Regional Park features rolling meadows, mixed forests and wetland areas. Trails are wide and hard packed dirt or gravel, with views of surrounding mountain ranges and Mount Baker. Aid stations are placed by distance: 22K has four stations, 11K two stations, 5K one station, all stocked with water, snacks and medical support.
Registration includes a bib, a finisher medal and a CA$5 donation to BabyGoRound. Timing is provided via a timing app rather than chip timing. Partner and solo entry options exist; partners register separately. Strollers are welcome with running strollers recommended on hillier sections. The event is cupless so participants should bring a reusable cup. Facilities at the start/finish include washrooms, a toddler changing and nursing station provided by BabyGoRound, and finish line food.
