Gruesome Twosome

Gruesome Twosome takes place at Aldergrove Regional Park and offers multiple trail race options. The event is partner‑inspired so participants may run with a partner or run solo. Registration includes a finisher's medal, a $5.00 donation to BabyGoRound, a smoothie or smoothie bowl from Stormy's Smoothies, an event bib and finish-line food. Strollers that are suitable for gravel trails are welcome.

Distances offered:

• 22 km double loop of the 11 km course
• 11 km mix of wide trails and undulating hills
• 5 km mainly flat wide packed trails
• 1 km fun run of 1.1 km on non-technical trails

Aldergrove Regional Park features rolling meadows, mixed forests, wide hard-packed dirt and gravel trails, views of mountain ranges including Mount Baker, and wetland habitat for local wildlife. Courses are well marked and supported by aid stations: one on the 5 km, two on the 11 km, and four on the 22 km, stocked with water, snacks and medical supplies. Timing is provided via a timing app rather than chip timing. The event has a participant limit of 300. A virtual option is available; virtual participants receive their race package and finisher's medal by mail and may complete their chosen distance remotely.
