Gruesome Twosome : August 22, 2026, Aldergrove Regional Park
Gruesome Twosome is an urban trail running event hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc. at Aldergrove Regional Park (Nature Discovery Area), Aldergrove, BC. The event supports BabyGoRound; each registration includes a $5.00 donation. There is a participant limit of 280 for 2026. All finishers receive a medal; 1st–3rd overall awards are given for each distance. Timing is provided via a timing app (not chip). The event is cupless; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup.
Distances and course details
- 22 km - double loop on mixed flat and undulating trails.
- 11 km - single loop with rolling hills.
- 5 km - mainly flat wide packed trails with short hills.
- 1 km - 1.1 km fun run on non-technical trail paths, all ages.
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drink mix, snacks and medical support: four stations on the 22 km, two on the 11 km, and one at 2.5 km for the 5 km. Strollers are welcome; running strollers capable of gravel trails are recommended and experience is advised on the hillier routes. A virtual option is available; virtual registration closes July 1, 2026, and virtual packages are mailed before the event day.
