Gruesome Twosome 22K, 11K, 5K and 1K : Aldergrove Regional Park
Gruesome Twosome is an urban trail event organised by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc. in support of BabyGoRound. The event offers multiple distances: 22 km, 11 km, 5 km, and a 1 km fun run. It encourages running with a partner but also accepts solo entries; it is not a relay and both partners must register separately.
The course is set in Aldergrove Regional Park, featuring rolling meadows, mixed forests, wetland habitat and wide hard packed dirt and gravel trails. The 5 km route is mainly flat with a few short hills and one aid station. The 11 km route mixes flat stretches and undulating hills with two aid stations. The 22 km is two laps of the 11 km course and includes multiple aid stations. The 1 km fun run covers about 1.1 km on non technical trails and is open to all ages.
Registration runs from late 2025 through August 19, 2026 or until the event reaches its participant limit. All participants receive a finisher’s medal and registration includes a donation of CAD 5.00 to BabyGoRound. The in person event features finish line food and a smoothie or smoothie bowl from a sponsor. Timing is managed via a timing app rather than chip timing.
