Growler Gallop Atwater is a running event in downtown Detroit on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The race starts and finishes at Atwater Brewery, with courses that use the Detroit Riverwalk and Belle Isle. The 10 Mile course is USATF-certified. The 5K is described as flat and has a turnaround just before the Belle Isle Bridge. The 5K allows walkers and strollers.

Race features, awards and logistics
Regular registration includes chip timing, race-day photography, a finisher medal that is part of the Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series, a Growler Gallop hoodie (size guaranteed if registered by August 30, 2026), two beer tickets for Atwater craft beer (21+), and post-race food. The top three overall male and female finishers in the 10 Mile receive cash prizes of $150, $100, and $75. Age group awards include growlers and howlers filled with beer for those 21 and older; growler awards are filled after race day.
There are virtual race options and economy registration options that omit swag. Pacers are provided for the 10 Mile. Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race, and race-day packet pickup is available at the venue. The event is the fifth race in a six-race Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series.
