The Groundhog Jog 4 Mile Run / Walk is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The event base address is 261 E. Mahoning St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. The live 4-mile course goes to Gobbler's Knob and back. A kids race is offered for participants aged 11 and under. A virtual option for the 4-mile distance is also available; virtual participants receive the same event items by mail and may submit a time to the results page.

Registration, fees and event items
Entry fees listed by the organizer are $20 for the live 4-mile event, $30 for the 4-mile virtual option, and $0 for the kids race. Registration deadlines are January 30, 2026 for the live and kids events, and January 21, 2026 for the virtual event. Preregistered participants are eligible for long sleeve shirts; the last day to order a shirt is January 19, 2026. All finishers receive collector coins.
