Groton Memorial Walk and Kids' Fun Run
This event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Bluff Point State Park in Groton, Connecticut. It includes a 2-mile Memorial Walk and a separate Kids' Fun Run with medals and arts and crafts for children. Registration fees are listed as $30 for the Memorial Walk and $10 for the Kids' Fun Run.
T-shirts are included with registration. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations completed after September 24. Participants may request a memorial sign with a photo along Memory Lane by raising $30 by September 24; this request is handled through the event registration process. The event runs rain or shine and refunds are not offered.
The event raises funds for The Cove's free programs that support grieving children and families. Named programs supported include The Family Program, Camp Compassion, the Virtual Program, the Summer Program, and Professional Development.
Registration opens in late June and closes in early October; the event notes that the price may increase for day of registration.
