The race uses a Super Sprint distance format with the following legs:

• Cycle 10 km
• Run 2 km

Two relay options are offered:

• Dual Relay (teams of 2): each athlete completes the full Super Sprint (swim, cycle, run), then tags the teammate; the sequence repeats so each athlete completes two full Super Sprint efforts in alternating order.
• Team Relay (teams of 2 or 3): team members divide the legs so each person does one specific leg per round and repeats the same leg in the second round; team members may not change legs after the first round.
